Extract pages from a PDF
Build a new PDF with only the pages you mark. Output order is the order of your ranges, not a silent reorder. An empty range or one outside the document is rejected.

How it works
- Select a PDF Choose the file and write the pages: 1, 3, 5-8, or a combination.
- Process the PDF Submit the job and wait for processing to finish.
- Download the result Download that PDF while temporary retention lasts.
Extract pages copies the ones you mark into a new PDF and discards the rest. Unlike split PDF, the output is always a single file, even if you asked for several ranges. Order is what you type: 5,1,3 becomes 5 then 1 then 3. Inside a range, order is natural (5-8 is 5, 6, 7 and 8). It is a deterministic contract; we do not reorder “for convenience”.
You must specify at least one page. An empty field does not extract “everything”. Overlaps (1-3,2) are rejected so pages are not duplicated. Out of range, page 0, negatives and odd syntax fail before or during processing, depending on whether they can be validated without opening the PDF. The range cap is the same parser split uses (twenty).
A PDF of up to 25 MB. Guest TTL. The input is deleted when it finishes. There is no OCR, no crop and no zip: if you need one file per range, use split.
Use cases: keep pages 3 and 7 of a contract, pull annex 10-12, or explicitly reorder two sheets. It does not work on password-protected PDFs. The options error does not include the internal command. Related: delete pages does the complement; merge PDF joins several files, not ranges of a single one.
Frequently asked questions
In what order do the pages come out?
In the order of the ranges you type. 5,1,3 produces page 5, then 1, then 3. Inside a range, order is natural (5-7 is 5, 6, 7).
Can I repeat a page?
No. Overlapping ranges (for example 1-3,2) are rejected. We do not duplicate pages on purpose.
Is this the same as split PDF?
Split produces one PDF per range (or a zip if there are several). Extract always returns a single PDF with every requested page.
Which file is accepted?
A PDF of up to 25 MB on the guest plan. A renamed JPG or an encrypted PDF does not get in or fails.
