How it works

Rotating a PDF is for when a scan arrived sideways, an annex was exported landscape, or you want to read a document vertically on a phone. On ToolZen you pick a fixed angle: 90, 180 or 270 degrees, always clockwise and relative to the rotation the page already has. There is no 0 or 360: they add nothing and are rejected. There is also no free slider and no “straighten with AI”.
You can leave the pages field empty to turn the whole document, or type ranges in the same format as split PDF: 1-3,5. Numbers start at 1. A zero, a negative, a reversed range or a page beyond the document is rejected with an options error. Ranges cannot overlap.
Processing runs in the background. The original is deleted when it finishes; the result lasts for guest retention (half an hour).
Guest-plan limits: one PDF, 25 MB, maximum time published on this page. A file that is not a PDF, an encrypted one or an empty one will not work. Success is a valid PDF with the rotation attribute changed, not a rasterized image. If you need to crop margins, use crop PDF; if you want a text stamp, watermark.
Typical mistakes: asking for 45 degrees, writing “all” in the pages field, or mixing a range with invalid characters. There is no account. The file is not published.

Which angles are supported?
Only 90, 180 and 270 degrees, relative to the current rotation. 0 and 360 are not in the contract: they are rejected.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Write ranges such as 1-3,5. If the field is empty, every page is rotated.
Are the pages recoded?
No. The PDF rotation attribute is changed. It is not a raster and not “straighten a scan” with OCR.
How long does the file last?
The result follows the guest TTL (half an hour). The input is deleted when processing finishes.
