Step by step

How it works

  1. Select a PDF Choose the file and enter the pages or ranges you want to remove, for example 2,5-7.
  2. Process the PDF Submit the job and wait for processing to finish.
  3. Download the result Download a single PDF with the remaining pages, while retention lasts.

Deleting PDF pages is the opposite of extract: you mark what is leftover and keep the rest, in the document’s natural order. It is for removing a blank cover, an advertising sheet or an annex you do not want to send. The result is a single PDF. It is not a visual editor: you do not drag thumbnails.

The strict rule is that the output file must keep at least one page. On a five-page PDF, 1-4 is valid and 1-5 is not. If the set to delete covers the whole document, the job fails with invalid_options; we do not return an empty PDF. Overlapping ranges are rejected (1-3,2 is invalid). Page 0, negatives, reversed ranges and text that is not a page list also fail.

The system counts the pages, computes the complement and keeps only the ones that remain. One file, 25 MB, half-hour retention. The input is purged when it finishes.

It is not the same as split: split gives you one PDF per range. It is not extract: extract leaves you only what you marked. If you want a loose chapter, extract or split. If you want to rotate what remains, rotate afterwards. An encrypted or corrupt PDF fails.

Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

Can I delete every page?

No. If the range covers the whole document, the job fails with an options error. At least one page must remain.

How are pages written?

Numbers and ranges separated by commas, starting at 1. Example: 1,3-4. Zeros, negatives and reversed ranges are not allowed.

Is this the same as extracting pages?

No. Here you mark what is thrown away and keep the rest, in the PDF’s natural order. Extract pages does the opposite: you keep only what you marked.

What if I ask for a page that does not exist?

The job fails with invalid_options. We do not return a half-finished PDF.
