Converting a PDF to JPG turns each page into a JPEG image. It is for when you need the pages as photos (to upload, insert or send), not when you want to keep editing the text.

What this conversion does

The PDF is rasterised: vectors and text stop being vectors and text. The resolution is fixed (the one the tool states) and there is a maximum number of pages; a longer document is rejected. You do not pick DPI or a crop per page.

Convert the PDF step by step

  1. Upload the PDFOpen the PDF to JPG tool and select the document. There is a maximum number of pages published on the tool page itself.
  2. ConvertSubmit the job. Each page is rasterised to JPEG at a fixed resolution.
  3. Download the resultOne page: a JPG. Several pages: a ZIP with one file per page.

Whole PDF or a single page

If you want the whole document as images, this is the guide. If you only care about one sheet — a receipt, a cover, a stamp — extract that page and convert it: save a PDF page as an image.

Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

What do I get if the PDF has several pages?

A ZIP with one JPEG per page (page-001.jpg, page-002.jpg…). A single-page PDF downloads a loose JPG.

Is the text still selectable?

No. It is an image: the text becomes pixels. If you need to edit the contents, convert to Word or use OCR, depending on the type of PDF.

Can I convert only one page?

This tool rasterises the whole document. For a specific page, extract that page first or follow the guide to saving a page as an image.
