How it works

  1. Select the image JPEG, PNG or WEBP, one per job.
  2. Process Submit the job and wait for conversion to finish.
  3. Download the WebP The file lasts for guest retention. Then it is deleted.

Converting to WebP reduces a photo’s weight for the web when the destination accepts the format. ToolZen accepts JPEG, PNG or an input WebP and writes a WebP. There is no quality picker on the form: a fixed factor is used. We do not promise the smallest possible file or that an icon PNG will slim down.

The megapixel cap, the size maximum (25 MB) and the upload-only restriction still apply. A GIF, TIFF or HEIC does not pass, even if you rename it. One file. The original is deleted when it finishes; the .webp expires with guest retention.

Compress image is another tool: it keeps JPEG, PNG or WEBP and applies a quality profile, but it does not change format. Here the goal is to write WebP. An input WebP is rewritten with the same factor; it is not a “lossless” transcoder and not an animation editor. There is no animation, no editable transparency and no method picker (lossy/lossless) in this version.

If you need a PDF from photos, use JPG to PDF. If you need a raster from a PDF, use PDF to JPG. If you only want to strip GPS, use strip metadata. If the photo is huge, resize first: the megapixel cap rejects decompression bombs before processing.

Typical mistakes: a file that is not an image, a truncated JPEG, or a photo above the pixel cap. The job fails in a controlled way. Success is a WebP that opens, not a savings percentage and not an image “equal bit for bit”.
